关于 Center of Excellence (COE)
The COE Summer Enrichment 程序 is a three-week program designed to introduce and expose participants to the 制药acy profession. Various activities will be completed to give participants hands-on experiences in different aspects of pharmacy. The dynamic field of pharmacy offers several career opportunities which will be discussed by pharmacy guest speakers.
学生 will also participate in ACT preparation, experiential labs, field trips, and health-related group projects.
Who should apply?
The purpose of the 中心 of Excellence Summer Enrichment 程序 is to enhance the competitiveness of the pool of African-American high school students interested in health sciences and in particular a career in pharmacy. *Xavier University 大学 of 制药acy 中心 of Excellence (COE) 程序 is supported by federal assistance made possible by the 分歧 of Health Professions Diversity, Bureau of Health Professions, Health Resource and Services Administration, Department of Health and Human Services.
The COE Summer Enrichment 程序 is open to high school rising freshmen through seniors who have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. The student must be able to attend throughout the entire duration of the program time in order to be eligible for any stipends or other incentives.

Admission Requirements

步骤2. Please list (1) name of a Math or Science Teacher , who have agreed to complete your recommendation. Teachers will be notified via email to complete recommendation.
步骤3. Upload a maximum 500 word "Statement of Interest" detailing why you want to attend COE, what you would like to learn this summer, and your motivation and professional aspirations of being in the Health Care profession.
步骤4. Please upload the most recent report card with current grades and cumulative GPA visible.
